Almost a month passed since Tehran bombed Israel on October 1 until Benjamin Netanyahu’s government responded this Saturday with air strikes on Iran. This last offensive against the Persian country, mission called ‘Days of Repentance’was carried out by several F-35 fighters, some of which were piloted by women.
«Today we have shown that we have the ability to act decisively against anyone who threatens Israel. The Air Force is always ready“, in defense and attack, to protect the State of Israel and the citizens of Israel,” Netanyahu’s Air Force has published on the social network X (formerly Twitter), which has accompanied the message with several photos and videos. In his messages, he has highlighted the participation of several women in the offensive.
The Israeli Air Forces have shared three tweets in relation to the attack and, in one of them, it includes part of the conversation between General Tomer Bar and the commander of the 201 squadron – known as ‘The One’ – at the time of the bombing in Iran: «The historic action you carried out tonight proved it: no enemy is too far away. You are the pride of all of us».

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this Sunday that the attack “precise and powerful” Saturday’s Israel-Iran campaign achieved all its objectives, at a time when its forces are relentlessly bombing Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
«We promised we would respond to the Iranian attack and on Saturday we attacked,” Netanyahu said in a speech at the first Hebrew anniversary ceremony on October 7, 2023, the day of the Hamas attack on Israel that sparked the conflict in Gaza.

In turn, Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian assured this Sunday that the Islamic Republic does not seek war, but has promised an “appropriate response” to the Israeli bombings against military sites in the Persian country.
«We do not seek war, but we will defend our nation and our country (…) If the aggressions of the Zionist regime and its crimes continue, tensions will increase,” Pezeshkian declared in a Council of Ministers.
