when he came out Nintendo Switch OLED late last year, there was some concern about its display theme. And it is that OLED screens have a reputation for “burning” the image, that is, when some static image is recorded on the screen due to constant use.
To test this, the channel Youtube, WULFF DEN, conducted an experiment where they left a OLED switch turned on for about 2 thousand hours, and at that time, absolutely nothing happened. Well, they went ahead with this experiment and after leaving the device on for 3,600 hours straight, the screen finally failed.
As you could see in the video, you OLED switch you’re not going to suffer from this unless you do it intentionally. It seems that Nintendo was aware of this problem when designing this new model, so you don’t have to worry if you use it constantly on the go.
Publisher’s note: And it is that this problem is not easy to solve, since basically you would have to change the entire screen of your console, a process that is not cheap, especially since the OLED issue is always accompanied by high prices.
