The heat wave is added to the two that have already hit the country this year, and is expected to be the most intense of all. Authorities have called on the population to take preventive measures, such as staying hydrated, avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun and wearing cool, light clothing.
Extreme heat can have serious health consequences, especially for the elderly, children and people with chronic diseases. The authorities recommend being attentive to the symptoms of dehydration and heat stroke, and going to the doctor if you experience any of them.
To deal with the heat wave, the Mexican government has implemented various measures, such as opening temporary shelters and distributing drinking water in the most affected areas.
The heat wave is a phenomenon that is intensifying due to climate change. It is important to be aware of the risks involved and take measures to protect yourself.
