Video lists Lula’s former allies arrested for corruption and asks: “So, do you want to be robbed again?”
In an electoral program shown on TV this Tuesday (27.Sep.2022), the campaign of the president and candidate for reelection Jair Bolsonaro (PL) aired a video with the motto “Thief, never again”, in which he directly criticizes the former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (EN) and its allies.
“Lula is the boss of humanity’s biggest corrupt scheme. So, do you want to be robbed again?”, asks the narrator. “Squid thief, your place is in prison.”
The video cites people linked to the PT candidate who are or have been arrested. They are: the former president of the PT, José Genoino; the ex-minister of the Civil House, José Dirceu; the former finance minister, Antonio Palocci; former PT treasurer, João Vaccari Neto; former PT Finance Secretary Delúbio Soares; the former Minister of National Integration, Geddel Vieira Lima.
“And who was in charge of all of them?”, asks the narrator. “Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, former president of Brazil.”
“They also stole her day care, her school, her hospital, her security, her hope. And now they’re trying to steal your future”, he added.
