The police of United Kingdom has incarcerated a trio of car thieves who used a device similar to Nintendo game boy to steal vehicles. Specifically, these thieves are said to have left with close to £ 180,000 in robberies, but luckily they are already behind bars.
Dylan Armer, Christopher Bowes and Thomas Poulson five were stolen Mitsubishi outlanders when using this device to bypass car security systems, in accordance with BBC. The device in question has a value of £ 20,000 euros, and according to the West Yorkshire Police, it is capable of unlocking and starting a car “in a matter of seconds”.
All three subjects were incarcerated in the Leeds Crown Court after pleading guilty to the robberies. Thanks to city cameras, evidence shows these thieves unplugging a van Mitsubishi outlander from its charging station to later use this device and take the vehicle.
On the phone of one of them there was even a video tutorial explaining how to use this device, and according to the authorities, “it was extremely easy to do it.”
