To ask for the health and well-being of the lifeguards, in addition to thanking them for another year of work, lifeguards and staff of the worthy attended an emotional mass officiated by the Presbyter Luis Alfonso Leyva López, who recognized them for the work of serving the neighbor with dedication and joy, because in this way they are serving God.
During the sermon, Leyva López told the lifeguards to wear that cross on their chest with great pride because it is an insignia that represents a lot for all of Mexico.
“May God bless all the ambulances, the facilities, those who represent them, God make good men of this worthy institution so that tomorrow they feel proud; We all have a guardian angel and I hope that he always protects you when things go wrong… God do works of love with you and that you do more works of love in our society.”

The delegate in Sinaloa of the Red Cross, Carlos Bloch Artola, in the award ceremony emphasized that the lifeguards are the most important thing in the institution and that without them they could not perform the function of serving.
For his part, Manuel Othón Cruz Burgoz, president of the Guasave Red Cross, called on the lifeguards to never lose the call for which they came to the institution. “That they continue to give from the heart what they give, their time, their effort, their dedication, which is the most beautiful thing about this institution.”
