The events occurred on Buen Suceso street this past Tuesday
The municipality of
Cieza is suffering in recent days a wave of robberies in shops and other establishments. The last of them occurred this Tuesday, when thieves seized some
4,000 euros in gender after accessing a sportswear store located on Buen Suceso street of the locality.
To gain access, intruders
they broke the main window of the shop window with a paving stone. Once inside, they loaded up with top brand sweatshirts, tracksuits and pants, as well as high-priced sports shoes.
They also took a laptop valued at around 600 euros and another 400 that was in cash in the box. On the other hand, last weekend
a tobacconist with the same ‘modus operandi’ located in the Plaza de San Juan Bosco was robbed, where the thieves seized an indeterminate quantity of tobacco. Robberies in local supermarkets are also frequent, which is why private security has been hired in some of them. The president of the Cieza Trade Association, Carlos Ramos, called for more vigilance from the security forces to try to avoid these events.
