We want to know the situation of these elements as fifteen years have passed since the integral rehabilitation of the building
A specialized architecture company carried out this Wednesday an ordinary review of the domes and roofs of the Cartagena Town Hall to check its current state, municipal sources reported in a statement.
It is an action commissioned by the Department of Archaeological Heritage, directed by Ana Belén Castejón, and which focuses on the visual verification of the different elements of the building’s roof, especially those that are difficult to access, as well as its tightness and the systems rainwater evacuation.
In this sense, we want to know the situation of these elements as 15 years have passed since the integral rehabilitation of the building. To access these hard-to-reach places, a crane with a large arm is used, which allows operators to get closer and view the different areas of the roof in detail. The review is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday afternoon.
