A total of 145 immigrants have been rescued in different parts of the Canary archipelago aboard three boats in the last hours, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 of the Canary Islands.
Thus, on Thursday afternoon, Salvamento Marítimo intercepted an irregular boat with 49 migrants to the south of Gran Canaria, all of whom were transferred to the Arguineguín pier, in the municipality of Mogán, where they were assisted, all being in good health.
Later, Maritime Rescue troops had to rescue another boat, with 42 people, when they were east of Fuerteventura, being transferred to Puerto del Rosario, where after being assisted one of the migrants had to be evacuated to a hospital for minor pathologies .
Finally, during the early hours of this Friday, Salvamento rescued 54 Maghreb immigrants, including seven women, who were traveling aboard a boat, which was located in the south of Gran Canaria.
Salvamento transferred these immigrants to the Arguineguín pier, where they assisted all the personnel and transferred a pregnant woman to the hospital, although the others were in good general condition.
