They report a fire in a restaurant in Plaza Andares, in Zapopan, Jalisco

A fire broke out in the kitchen of a seafood restaurant located in the Plaza Andares, in Zapopan, Jaliscoforcing the evacuation of the premises and the blocking of the main access to the square.

The accident, which took place today, was caused by a Grease accumulation in kitchen ducts, as reported by the Zapopan Firefighters. No injuries or major damage were reported in the shopping plaza.

The fire, which started specifically in the kitchen ducts, did not extend to other areas of the restaurantbut the resulting dense accumulation of smoke required the immediate evacuation of all people present in the establishment to ensure their safety.

In response to the incident, Private security units blocked the main entrance to the plazapreventing vehicle access while the fire control and extinguishing work was carried out.
