Ciudad Juárez.- The Clean Directorate worked on the rehabilitation of the painting of the monument to the Mexican Red Cross, located on Henry Dunant Street, in the Pronaf area.
Gibran Solís Kanahan, in charge of the department’s spite, indicated that these days the Red Cross will have an important commemoration, so in addition to the cleaning that was carried out around the institution, attention was paid to the monument.
“This sculpture is represented by several red cubes and a dove on top, so the crews used red, white and black paint for its proper rehabilitation,” he said.
The official explained that compared to other venues, this space did not have as much graffiti, however, citizens were urged to maintain the good image of the city.
“The graffiti on monuments, fences and bridges still continues to appear, which generates affectation and a perception of insecurity,” he mentioned.
