Mazatlan.- The roundabout that was built in a hexagonal shape at the intersection of Óscar Pérez Escobosa Avenue and Paseo del Atlántico, in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, was partially destroyed on Saturday afternoon.
The modification of the construction occurs after the public complaint that was made through this means of communication and the heartfelt claim of motorists, who did not agree with the design of the roundabout, as it would generate more accidents in that area of the city. from Mazatlan.
During an inspection that was carried out last night, it was found that the concrete borders that were on Óscar Pérez Escobosa avenue were removed and in their place orange plastic walls were placed, which gave the shape of a roundabout.

slow down
Although the hexagonal form of cement no longer exists, the authority that took charge of removing the rubble left plastic signs that give the shape of a roundabout.
To avoid knocking them down and crushing them, last night, drivers traveling towards José Luis “Peche” Rice Avenue or vice versa, slowed down to avoid an accident.
Comments obtained from drivers agree that design needs to be adjusted so that the roundabout is smaller and the traffic of vehicles more fluid.
Badly done
Yesterday morning, the director of Public Works, Luis Nunez Gutierrezrecognized that the roundabout had poorly done details, so it would have to be modified.
He said that the project, which is being reviewed to determine the possible flaws it could have, is made by an individual. “We are going to see all the bad details that the construction is having so that it complies with the orders of Public Works.”
Núñez Gutiérrez assured that it is necessary to modify the roundabout, since it is poorly made and has to be rebuilt to remove possible damage. He clarified that this type of works must adhere to the rules of the municipal authority, which is in charge of regulating public works in the port.
