Chihuahua.- The Municipal Institute of Prevention and Health Care (Impas) of Chihuahua, in coordination with the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, launched the call for the “Shout it, Sálo it, Speak it” soccer tournament, to be held from December 15 to 25. October on the fields of the Luis H. Álvarez Sports Center.
Through these events, we seek to promote mental health among young people with emotional strengthening and well-being.
The announcement was led by the director of Imps, Luis Antonio Arrieta Trevizo; to the president of the Health Commission in the City Council, María Guadalupe Borruel Baquera, as well as the councilor who presides over the Sports Commission, Adán Isaías Galicia.
“Sport strengthens our self-esteem, reduces stress and connects us with others,” commented the head of Impas, who stressed that it is a team effort.
Among the rules of the tournament, it will be divided into mixed teams of students from 14 to 18 years old, where there must be at least two women on the court at all times; Space is limited to 16 teams and there is no registration cost.
The call is open until October 11.
The winners will be awarded trophies, medals and cash prizes for the first three places with 15 thousand for the first; 10 thousand for second and five thousand for third place.
