Juarez City.– The alleged members of the Los Mexicles criminal group who were detained on October 1 by the State Investigation Agency (AEI) in possession of high-caliber firearms have been linked by personnel within the Northern Zone District Prosecutor’s Office to the homicide and dismemberment of two men whose bodies were abandoned in a public place in El Sauzal, on August 31.
On Saturday, August 31, in the morning, state investigation agents became aware of a case in which two dismembered people were reported at the intersection of Presidentes Ejidales and Mina streets, where they went to make the corresponding seizures.
At the scene, the body of an unidentified man was found with his left hand cut off and decapitated, with multiple scars and bruises on his torso, as well as another decapitated body.
The hand of the first victim was found next to the body, roughly severed. The heads, on the other hand, were facing each other inside a green “ecological” bag.
One of the victims was abandoned wrapped in a red and black blanket and on top of it a white quilt that was stained with blood, and the other in a turquoise blue and black blanket.
The first body was described as 30 to 35 years old, with a tattoo of an owl on the right forearm, one with the legend “family” on the right bicep, one of a lion on the left pectoral, another of “1995” on the chest, one of “Paula” on the right side and a San Judas Tadeo on the back.
The age and affiliation of the second could not be determined at the time of the arrest, given that he remained wrapped in the clothing until his arrival at the Forensic Medical Service facilities.
On October 2, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on the arrest of Daniel Eduardo MS, 31 years old; Francisco MO, 37, and José Antonio FP as a result of investigative work and follow-up analysis by the State Investigation Agency.
The capture took place in Rivera de Pátzcuaro and Rivera del Duero, in the Portal del Valle neighborhood, after an intervention on a van-type truck which had been identified thanks to intelligence work and identification of AEI vehicles, in investigations into recent events with various victims.
In total, six .223-caliber long guns and one .308-caliber long gun were seized, as well as a short .45-caliber gun, in addition to a gray 2006 Honda Odissey truck without license plates.
