The Civil Guard has immobilized a school transport bus that transported minors to different schools in the Albox district, in the province of Almería, whose driver tested positive for drugs.
According to the Armed Institute in a statement, the events occurred around 8:00 a.m. on November 19 when agents from the Huércal Overa Traffic Detachment (Almería) proceeded to control and inspect a school transport bus for minors.
Driver drug testing tested positive for THC (cannabis)pending confirmation by the laboratory, for which an administrative infraction was formulated for very serious misconduct addressed to the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Almería, which entails the proposal of withdrawal of six points from the driving license, as well as a financial penalty of 1,000 euros.
The school bus was immobilized at the same place of the events waiting for another driver from the same company takes charge of the vehicle.
