Kiev.- A column of about a hundred Russian armored vehicles advance in the direction of Kiev from the Vishgorod regionlocated north of the Ukrainian capital, local media reported today.
According to ukrainian agency UNIAN, the armored ones are identified with a white letter “V”while its crew members wear white duct tape markings on their sleeves.
At the moment the column, made up of armored personnel carriers, is in the town of Kozarovichi, on the banks of the Dnieper, from where it could return north or march towards the captain through the bridge at the mouth of the Irpen River.

Russian troops earlier launched an offensive through the western part of the city and shelled a military garrison.
The enemy incursion would have been rejected, according to the Army, which claims to have eliminated an enemy motorized column.
The Russian column, which would be made up of tanks, trucks and other military vehiclestried to advance in the Berestéiskaya metro area, on Victory Avenue.
According to local authorities, Russian airborne forces would have landed at an airfield in the town of Vasilkov, which is less than 40 kilometers from Kiev.
Russian troops are trying to surround the capital and isolate it from the rest of the country, for which they have already taken an airfield in the direction of the Belarusian border and blocked an important city to the north, Chernigov.
