Cajeme, also known as Ciudad Obregón, is the second most violent municipality in Mexico, according to information from the Executive Secretariat of the National Security System.
Regarding the discovery, Nora Lira, leader of the group of relatives who were victims of the forced disappearance, explained that the bodies found in the clandestine grave belong to males and they believe that they had not been deprived of life for more than a year and buried. in the place.
He explained that the group of trackers has located 149 bodies in different sectors of Cajeme from 2019 to date. He added that in the same period of time they received more than 800 reports of missing persons.
The leader and spokeswoman of the aforementioned group announced that they would soon return to the search for people and bone remains in the Urbi Villa del Real sector, where 22 bodies were located in recent days.
