Baloa reported through his Twitter account that the soldiers fired on the inhabitants who had lent a router for the internet to reach the communitythrough an antenna belonging to the Border Base.

Then the uniformed men refused to return the equipment and hand over the Wi-Fi passwords so that everyone could have access, which caused the confrontation. Among the victims is a woman of the ethnic group. “The military did not understand that Parima B is their habitattheir space, and that by the way they did not want them to lift their body for them to do their ritual,” Baloa wrote.

The event occurred on Sunday, March 20, but it could be confirmed until this Tuesday, communication failures make it difficult to access the place.

The NGO Kapé-Kapé reported that the indigenous delegation of The Ombudsman opened an investigation about the facts. Among the injured was a 16-year-old minor. The young man has a gunshot wound to his left arm.
