Culiacan, Sinaloa. -An authentic journey through the history of Mexico was experienced by the public during the presentation of the folk gala “Mexico, Joy and Tradition” by the Sinaloa Folk Company, this Friday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. at the Teatro Mía facilities. The talented artists filled the audience with pride and emotion during their presentation in honor of the beginning of the celebrations for the 491 Culiacan Anniversary.

With a stellar program and special guests such as the Municipal President of Culiacán, Juan de Dios Gamez Mendivilthe night became an authentic gala where the artistic presentations called the audience to dream and go back to ancient times of our country, such as the pre-Hispanic era, the viceroyalty and the Mexican Revolution.
Music, colors and costumes representative of the nation were some of the elements that helped transform the evening into an authentic Mexican party, where the guests could dance and enjoy the rhythm of classics such as “Black of my sorrows”, “Long live Mexico” Y “The Little Dove” by the Mariachi Sinaloense;
Who accompanied the company’s dancers while they amazed the public with extremely interesting presentations, ranging from an artistic representation of the foundation of Tenochtitlan, the Dance of the Aztec Corporation of the four elements and dances representative of the Porfiriato era.
At the end of the ceremony, the members of the Sinaloa Folk Company They were received not only with excited applause and long standing ovations from the public, they also received recognition on behalf of the City Council of Culiacán and the mayor, Juan de Dios Gamez.
