Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- An urgent call to all bean producers of the state of Sinaloa so that keep in the product and do not waste it at the prices that marketers want to pay at this time, said the president of the Sinaloa Bean Product System, Alfredo Rosales Gámez.
Interviewed in the city of Los Mochis, the representative of the bean growers of the state indicated that definitely the prices at which production has been paid up front are totally low and unrealistic, since it does not correspond to the difficult situation that the producer experienced this year. “We ask, we beg the producer to keep the beans from him.”
He made it clear that with this position they do not aspire to simply make the product more expensive to harm Mexican families, but simply to pay them a fair price.
“We do not aspire to damage the pockets of Sinaloa families, or the rest of the country. Believe us, we do not want to become rich overnight with a production that we know cost twice what it cost us last year.”
He indicated that there is no justification for the way in which the buyers began acquiring the production, since last year they began buying beans at 40 pesos and ended up paying between 25 and 27 pesos, so it is not possible that today, where production costs doubled, they are buying the product at much less than what they paid us last year.
He highlighted the importance of taking advantage of the support that is being provided by the state government and the organizations that have warehouses, since it will be allowed to withdraw a volume from the market, with the firm objective of trying to stabilize prices.

I emphasize that there are conditions for prices to be improved because the product that is about to enter the market is of first quality.
