Culiacán, Sinaloa.- A constitutional reform that allows homologating the elections in syndicates and ejidal police stations with those of the municipal presidencieswas the approach of the trustees of Culiacán and Navolato, authors of the initiative of a reform to article 110 of the Constitution, who complained about the gap that implies working with two different municipal administrations.
The trustees of Sataya, from the municipality of Navolato, Jesús Antonio Rodelo Baldenegro; from Aguaruto, Obdulio Esquerra Urrea, and from San Lorenzo, Jesús Guadalupe López Zambada. The last two from Culiacán.
In their speeches they supported their homologation proposal because the plebiscites in unions take place up to six months after the mayors are elected, and that in the case of municipal police stations the election takes place up to eight months later.

The Political Coordination Board of the Sinaloa Congress, chaired by deputy Feliciano Castro Meléndrez, endorsed its commitment to approve a political reform that allows promoting the best political and legal conditions so that the people feel in the best way represented for the sake of social management to solve their problems.
Deputies Gene René Bojórquez Ruiz, Ricardo Madrid Pérez and Adolfo Beltrán Corrales also participated in the meeting, as well as deputies Celia Jáuregui Ibarra and Giovanna Morachis Paperini, who are part of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo).
In the same way, the deputy Serapio Vargas Ramírez participated, who has accompanied the trustees in the process of preparing their initiative, which has already been given a first and second reading in plenary.
The president of the Jucopo added that the political reform that is being worked on also contemplates the integration of city councils and how to elect the aldermen.
The revocation of mandaterecently approved, he added, is part of that political reform.
Deputy Gene René Bojórquez, who is president of the Board of Directors and is a PAS representative, commented that political reform is an issue that has already been discussed on multiple occasions and that his party is pushing.
Deputy Ricardo Madrid Pérez, coordinator of the PRI parliamentary group, recognized that the initiative that is in the legislative process is a great effort by trustees.
He stressed that this meeting with the Jucopo is a sign of the opening of this instance of Congress to attend to the different social sectors.
There is no doubt, he added, that a well-done, well-structured opinion will be sought to be approved with the support of all political forces.
