Elements of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) arrested three men who were allegedly in possession of 2.6 kilograms of methamphetamine, in the López Lucio neighborhood, in the city of TijuanaBaja California.
The events occurred when the agents agreed to provide support to the driver of a vehicle that apparently had mechanical failures, but discovered that the crew members of said unit were supposedly in possession of the narcotic.
The detained They are Martín Javier “N”, 49 years old and originally from Guaymas, Sonora; Tomás “N”, 32 years old and originally from Dolores, Chihuahua; and Rogelio “N”, 64 years old and originally from Pericos, Sinaloa.
According to the report, it was on López Lucio Street between Santa Anita Street and Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Boulevard in the López Lucio neighborhood, where the agents assigned to the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Baja California (SSCBC) They saw a gold-colored Ford Ranger pick-up truck, with tubular cage-type bases, and border license plates, which had its flashing lights on.
When approaching the driver to ask if he required any type of help, the subject behaved suspiciously and tried to evade the dialogue that the state authority had initiated, while his companions turned to look at each other, also reflecting suspicious behavior; For this reason, the officers told them to get out of the car.
The suspects underwent a body inspection for preventive purposes to rule out that they were in possession of anything illegal, but nothing was found among their belongings.
However, upon checking the interior of the vehicle, a package strapped with transparent plastic was found, in which there were 6 plastic bags tied at the top, each of these was full of a granular substance to the touch, characteristics of the drug known as methamphetaminewhich had an approximate weight of 2 kilos 672 grams.
The three detained men were turned over to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
