On the morning of this Friday, May 31, the governor of Tabasco, Carlos Manuel Merino, reported the arrest of a woman, allegedly involved in the crime of Emiliano.
During an interview with journalist Azucena Uresti for Radio Formula, the official confirmed that there is progress in the investigation of the murder of the child Emiliano, since the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) managed to arrest a young woman this Thursday afternoon in Quintana Roo.
“The woman was located in Quintana Roo, being detained yesterday and transferred to the Comalcalco prison, in Tabasco,” the governor indicated. Likewise, Manuel Merino highlighted that, although Emiliano’s mother claims that her son did not know her attackers, there is sufficient evidence to prove otherwise.
The official pointed out that everything indicates that the alleged mastermind of the crime was known to the family, a situation that is why the minor did not hesitate to leave his grandmother’s house when the woman asked him to and when he resisted arrest he was murdered.
“He started a conversation via messages with a female person, whom we are going to name Carmen ‘N’ and who, apparently, was known. She initiates a dialogue and this leads to her leaving. She is the one who makes the calls and, through messages, somehow makes him approach the car where this person was in the company of two other people, some of them. would be the material author of this horrible crime”, he expressed.
The governor of Tabasco said that investigations continue to find the whereabouts of the other two alleged perpetrators of Emiliano’s murder, which occurred on May 21. “Hopefully the other two people allegedly responsible can be located and arrested soon.”
