A neighbor recorded how the assailant left the balcony of a house, located on the first floor
The National Police are looking for a thief specialized in committing robberies in homes in Murcia using the escalation technique. In the last week it is suspected that he had robbed at least three houses using this criminal modality in the Murcian district of Puente Tocinos. The first took place on Tuesday, October 12, on Carmen Barba Street in the town.
Around nine in the morning, the suspect climbed the facade of a building and entered the first floor, accessing through a window of a room, which was open. The owners were inside the home, and they noticed the suspect’s presence after a few minutes, when the owner came out of a bathroom and found herself face to face with him. “He turned and went out the same window through which he had entered, jumping into the street,” explains the affected.
The thief returned to act last Sunday in a building on Calle Mayor in the town. The robbery was committed at 2:00 p.m., in broad daylight, and was recorded by a neighbor with his mobile phone. The images show how an individual comes out of the balcony of a house, located on the first floor, and looks out over the adjoining house, climbing onto the air conditioning unit. “He had just robbed my neighbor’s house, and he looked into mine, but he saw that we were in the living room eating, and that’s why he decided not to go in,” says Ángel, the owner of the house. After aborting the robbery, the suspect descends in just three seconds through a gas pipe to the street, and flees through some arcades. However, the individual did not give up and that day he again attacked another house, in a duplex area of La Torre lane. According to the neighbors, the man was seen this Monday in the district of Casillas “with the same clothes that appear in the video recorded by the neighbor of Puente Tocinos.”
