The 2024 asphalt plan comes to an end. The Zaragoza City Council has launched the last part with which a total of 19,750 square meters of road more in various streets of the capital.
The works this week focus on Franco and López, Corona de Aragón, Camino de las Torres and Tomás Bretón streets. Specifically, action is being taken in several sections. For example, in Franco and Lopez The work is concentrated between number 38 and Diego Fecet Street and between numbers 20 and 17.
For its part, in Crown of Aragonthe paving is undertaken between Valencia Avenue and Concepción Arenal Street, while on the Camino de las Torres it is carried out in the direction of Cesáreo Alierta, between Lacarra de Miguel and Santa Joaquina de Vedruna and between number 35 and Cesáreo Alierta. In addition, work is being done in the direction of Paseo Sagasti between Santa Joaquina de Vedruna and Lacarra de Miguel and between number 35 and Cesáreo Alierta, between Pedro María Ric and Plaza A. Schweitzer, between number 96 and Tenor Fleta, between numbers 104 and numbers 114. and between numbers 116 and Paseo Sagasta.
The plan includes the street Thomas Bretonbetween Fernando el Católico and Baltasar Gracián and between the intersection with San Antonio María Claret and number 25. The road will also be paved. Avenida de la Jota in Garrapinillosthe bridge Pablo Ruiz Picasso or the bus lane Salvador Allende at Actur, where it will be performed in the coming days and weeks.
This latest asphalt plan joins the different actions that have been carried out throughout the year. In recent days, the work has focused on the Camino Puente Clavería, in Garrapinillos, where 6,784 square meters have been milled and paved, and in Duquesa Villahermosa, with the adaptation of another 6,555 square meters.
The most important action was carried out this summer with the improvement of 77 streets distributed in the 15 urban districts of the city and 11 neighborhoods with an investment of 2.3 million euros or the one that in spring allowed the adaptation of eight important roundabouts and intersections of the city with an allocation of 350,000 euros, according to data from the Zaragoza City Council through the area of Urban Planning, Infrastructure, Energy and Housing.
The council will have invested this year 3.5 million euros in the adaptation of the asphalt of the streets of Zaragoza. This last operation of the year will involve an investment of more than 655,000 euros.
The plan has also acted on roads of industrial estates. Last October, 500,000 euros were invested to condition 23,819 square meters in Malpica and Cogullada.
