There will be 14 establishments that will offer a selection of local cuisine during the September Fair in Murcia
The September Fair in Murcia begins to warm up engines. The Councilor for Culture, Pedro García Rex, visited the Malecón garden this Thursday to check the assembly of the Orchards, as well as the area dedicated to tastings and local crafts in which different workshops and exhibitions will be offered, during the Murcia Fair . In total there will be 14 orchards and 15 ‘stands’ that will open to the public from September 1 to 13, starting at 7:00 p.m. The space, whose portico will be lit on September 1 at 10:30 p.m., will be enlivened with concerts for all musical tastes starting on Sunday, September 3.
For the Councilor for Culture, Tourism and Sports, Pedro García Rex, “it will be an excellent opportunity for many Murcians to reencounter their most typical gastronomy and elements that are part of the traditions of the municipality, within the program of a long-awaited Fair of Murcia, in which visibility will also be given to the work carried out by groups in the social and environmental field.
The venue will be divided into three areas: orchards, tastings with product tasting and the participation of Murcian appellations of origin and various crafts with the presence of social and environmental groups.
The orchards that will be installed will be those of the Virgen de la Salud, La Lebrilla, Aires de Murcia, Hermandad del Rocío, Alhama, Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, Virgen de las Lágrimas, Salzillo, Vega del Segura, San Basilio, Virgen de la Vega, Virgin of the Dangers, Museum of the Huerta and Contest of Tunas.
As for the prices of the Huertos de la Feria de Murcia in 2022, the City Council announced that they will remain the same as last year. This is the price list that the 14 orchards on the Malecón will have this September.
