– non-essential shops can open again daily until 5 pm. Customers must keep a distance of 1.5 meters and wear a mouth cap. Also, only a limited number of people are allowed in. Essential stores, such as supermarkets and drugstores, remain open until 8 p.m.
– Hairdressers and other non-medical contact professions, such as nail technicians and sex workers can also open their doors again until 5 pm.
– Secondary and higher vocational education as well as universities are allowed to provide physical education again instead of purely online. All education is now open again. For MBO and HBO, a maximum of 75 people per room applies, with an exception for interim and final examinations. The cabinet advises to wear a medical mask both inside and outside the lecture hall. Students are advised to do a self-test in the event of complaints. These can be obtained free of charge through the educational institution.
– It is possible to exercise indoors and outdoors at any time of the day. Sports competitions within your own club are also possible again, but there is no public allowed to be present. For indoor sports, everyone from 18 years old must show a QR code l (corona admission ticket).
– Music, dance and theater lessons can continue again. ‘Just like sports, not with the public.’
– The mouth cap advice is being expanded: everywhere it is not possible to keep 1.5 meters away, it is advised to wear a mouth cap. This applies, for example, to busy outdoor public places, such as shopping streets, but also in the workplace. From now on, the advice is to wear medical mouth caps. Fabrics and homemade mouth caps are not recommended.
– people are allowed to receive a maximum of four people from 13 years old at home per day instead of two. Outside it is recommended to be together with no more than four people older than 13 years. The cabinet also advises not to visit more than one household per day.
– people who have had a booster at least a week ago or who have recovered from corona less than eight weeks ago no longer need to be quarantined after contact with an infected person. At least they don’t have any complaints. The measure takes effect immediately.
– the catering, events and cultural sector are not yet open. ‘It is not possible to do everything at once from the sum of all contacts in society.’ A new ‘weighing moment’ will take place on 25 January. The cabinet will then look at whether the corona measures can be further relaxed, first in the catering industry, museums, cinemas and theaters.
