During the President’s press conference Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Ricardo Sheffield Padillathe Federal Consumer Attorney, presented the weekly report of Who’s Who in the Products of First Necessity or Basic basket.
Supermarkets with the highest basic basket prices in Mexico
During this week, the supermarkets with the highest basic basket prices are an HEB supermarket located in the city of San Luis Potosí, the Central de Abasto de Monterrey and another HEB in Saltillo.
The cost of the basic basket in the supermarket HEB from the city of San Luis Potosí is $1,120.50.
While the cost of the basic food basket at the Central de Abasto de Monterrey was $1,108. 80; the other store HEB in Saltillo, the cost was $1,107.55.
