“They convince or hire environmentalists supposedly concerned about the defense of the environment and start a campaign against the Mayan Train,” the president said.
AMLO He explained that trees are being planted like never before – “200,000 hectares” – and the gap that is opening for a 50-kilometer section is the equivalent of 100 hectares.
He also extolled that three 18,000-hectare parks are being created in the southeast as nature reserves.
He recalled that on Tuesday Lake Texcoco was declared a nature reserve area and questioned that those who are part of this campaign did not speak out against the construction of the Mexico City International Airport that was planned in the area and he canceled.
