The National Water Comission (Conagua) informed, this Monday, April 3, that it will carry out a reduction in water supply for a period of 48 hours during Holy Week, which will affect 10 municipalities in the State of Mexico.
The agency pointed out that the reduction is essential, since the interconnection of the drinking water line from the MadÃn II water treatment plant with the macrocircuit operated by the Mexico State Water Commission (CAEM) will be carried out.

Which Edomex municipalities will be affected?
The Conagua indicated that the reduction in flow will temporarily affect the following municipalities of the Mexico state:
- Nicholas Romero
- Atizapan of Zaragoza
- Tultitlan, Cuautitlan Izcalli
- Coacalco de Berriozabal
- Nezahualcoyotl
- Tlalnepantla de Baz
- Ecatepec de Morelos
- Tecamac

The agency recommended that the general population make responsible use of water and use it only for essential activities, in addition to taking storage forecasts prior to the indicated dates.
