The racing game gains distance with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and consolidates at the top.
Nintendo has published this morning his fiscal results for the quarter from April to June. And as usual, the Kyoto company accompanies its report with the new Sales numbers of the most successful Nintendo Switch games. Updated data for top 10 best-selling games of the platform, with a Mario Kart 8: Deluxe who stepped on the gas back in 2017 and has not stopped using turbo mushrooms since then, as it remains as the absolute leader of the platform.
In total, the Wii U-native racing game has sold 1.69 million copies in the last quarter, putting its total tally at 37.08 million games sold. It is followed in second place by a title that is barely one year and three months old (as of June). Indeed, Animal Crossing: New Horizons remains the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game to date, with a total of 33.89 million units after adding 1.29 million in the period.
Big numbers for the two titles on a console base that already exceeds 89 million Nintendo Switches sold, all waiting for the Big N to launch its new Nintendo Switch OLED in the fall. But back to the games the only novelty of this list compared to the top 10 in March occurs in the last position of the ranking: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is replaced by a Ring Fit Adventure that does not stop selling units, while people seek to get rid of a year of confinements.
Below we offer you the list with top 10 best-selling Nintendo Switch games to date, a top-10 updated as of June 30, 2021.
