Therus Invest has obtained the initial approval of the Getafe City Council to develop a new 29,000 m2 commercial park of gross alkylable surface (SBA).
“The new commercial park is emerging as a reference point in southern Madrid, thanks to its strategic location and its innovative approach. Its location in one of the main arteries of the Community of Madrid will guarantee a high flow of visitors, both of the nearby municipalities and of the entire region, consolidating it as a key destination for the main brands and consumers,” explains the promoter.
This project will be strategically located at the intersection of the A-4 with John Lennon Avenuewith direct access from the output 13 of the highway and a great visibility with more than 250 meters of facade to the A4.
The project design focuses on offering a modern and functional experience, combining commercial spaces, restoration areas and leisure areas. Besides, Therus invest bets on sustainability, integrating measures such as the use of energies renewableenergy efficiency systems and architectural elements that respect the environment. This vision reinforces the promoter’s commitment to the environment and with responsible urban development.
The start -up of the Commercial Park will also involve an important impulse for Getafe’s economyby generating about 300 direct jobs, both in its construction phase and during its operation. The project will contribute to boost local business fabric and to promote new business opportunities in the area.
Cushman & Wakefield will lead the commercialization of this space, In addition to being responsible for the technical development and architectural design of the project, guaranteeing the presence of reference operators that will contribute to position the commercial park as an essential destination in the southern part of Madrid while satisfying the demand for more than 500,000 inhabitants of its area of immediate influence.
