the premiere of “Spiderman: no way home” meant great nostalgia for fans, due to the spidery meeting between Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. However, one of the most heartbreaking and shocking moments of the film was carried out by Marisa Tomei in the role of aunt Maybecause she died in the confrontation against the Green Goblin.

While the film’s writers explained why Ms. Parker’s death was necessary, Tomei is determined to bring Spider-Man’s lovable relative back to life. How? The multiverse would be the answer. So she commented on it in an interview with “The tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon”.
“Oh yes, there is a multiverse. (…) I would love to come back and be a part of that. There is also history there. May Parker joins Ant-Man, well she’s a standalone character of course, but there are more avenues to explore,” she expressed.

As you remember, in each of the most famous film versions of ‘Trepamuros’ that we have seen, May is presented as a very important figure in the life of Peter Parker; however, until now it was Uncle Ben who was given a tragic ending, while his wife remained a perennial pillar.
Therefore, with “No way home”, viewers understood that the superhero was going to enter a new stage in which he would not only be without his friends, but also without his beloved aunt, with whom he had a deep relationship.
For now, it is not known what Marvel Studios’ plans will be for Tomei. Even so, it is possible that we can see his endearing role in the future, either as a variant in the life of another ‘Spidey’ or, perhaps, as a memory, through flashbacks as a resource for melancholy scenes.
