Pirttikoski the summer theater in Iittala has raised the nationwide finnish court with its new play Boomers in the squeeze of Woke culture.

The surname of the fictional female protagonist, Mamubatjah, has aroused special disapproval. It would seem to refer to the derogatory term “mamupatja”.

According to the Urban Dictionary, a “mamupatja” is “a Finnish woman who sleeps with an immigrant (usually from Africa or the Middle East)”.

The term is used in racist and anti-immigration contexts.

Scriptwriter and director Seppo Holttinen has been making a new play for the Pirttikoski Summer Theater for 30 years. He admits the name selection failed.

“It’s happened somewhere in my eyes and I thought it was a good last name. It went wrong. ”

And didn’t he really think about the etymology of the name?

“When I’m just not there in the sky and I didn’t know about these racism sites when I don’t visit them. That’s how it became quite a hooligan. ”

Yet at the time of the interview, on Friday afternoon, the play was presented on the website of the summer theater in such a way that the “hurd background” [fiktiivinen kansa, viittaa kurdeihin] but Amatullah Mamubatjah, a strong-willed representative of Woke culture born in Finland, arrives in the village of Kurppasuo with his wife and cousin Ötzkull.

“So these are Finnish citizens born in Finland. I got that woke idea Marja Sannikan from a program in which was heavily contested. ”

In the play, the young wife escapes from a repressive union and notices an interesting stern chamber boy.

“The female protagonist is a very positive figure,” Holttinen assures.

“He’s very strict at first and despises boomers but gives up his woke thinking. Onhan Barack Obamakin criticized the extreme export of woke thinking. ”

I guess Obama mostly warn complacency to those who rebuke others, for example, for using the wrong verb to show their own awareness.

And do the boomers learn anything in the play?

“Hopefully. They’re pretty stupid. I myself act as a village crazy bomber who has been tied to his wife’s escape on the journey of a district destroyer and imagines himself to be an Indian chief. He makes a revelation to Hesar and gets two representatives of Elokapina as his tribes, which becomes more of a mess. ”

Dead is a 68-year-old retired farmer. The last heifers were sold to another farm this week.

Holttinen is also a nationally known village activist and chairman of the Pirttikoski School Godparents Association. Previous plays included The radicalized sons of “Pukama”and the Prime Minister Juha Sipilän (center) (in the play Johan Pipilä) told about Finland Solidarity in Surgestan.

The city of Hämeenlinna presented its cultural award to the Pirttikoski Summer Theater in 2019.

“Quite drastically, I have taken a stand with humor and it hasn’t gotten any bigger before. Bayonet Putin cheap already in 2014. I have probably criticized the EU and Ely authorities the most. ”

The purpose has been good, he assures.

“The actors still laughed at the waters in their eyes during the first reading exercises. The choice of the main character’s name had failed, but the intention is to show that there is an unnecessary confrontation in Finland and everyone should get along with everyone. ”

“Not yet, welcome to the premiere on July 10.”

Holttinen himself estimates that only the names of the main couple need to be changed from the play.

“Two actresses have already lost a night’s sleep and an older daughter has threatened to change her last name because of this fuss. I guess I’ll change them. ”

There will be changes to the summer theater website that afternoon.

Now the protagonist is no longer a “hurd” or a “Mamubatjah” but a journalist with a Zurkistan background and a nature lover named Zamatullah Ölkumhölkum.

“I drew new names out of my imagination. If these offend too, then nothing can be done. ”
