The Zakat Fund received two international certificates, the first “BSI13500: 2013” in the field of effective governance and the second “BSI 19600: 2014” in the field of compliance management, as the first specialized federal charitable body concerned with serving the Zakat duty, confirming the leadership of the Zakat Fund in the areas of governance, compliance management and providing an environment Work characterized by integrity, transparency, fairness, equality, accountability, compliance, accuracy, and control in the functioning of the Fund, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership of the state.
Abdullah bin Aqeedah Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Zakat Fund, expressed his pride and pride in the Zakat Fund obtaining these two international certificates, explaining that this achievement comes as a culmination of the efforts of the senior leadership of the Zakat Fund in promoting the principles of governance, integrity, compliance, risk management, compliance and internal control. The Zakat Fund as the first federal charitable body specialized in serving the obligation of Zakat according to international standards BS 13500: 2013 Code of Practice for Effective Governance “Effective Good Management”, which focuses on the effective structuring of interests management, accountability, fairness and transparency, and how the fund conducts effective business governance in order to reduce risks Poor governance.
