Microsoft has specified that theXbox Games Showcaseor rather the presentation event set for this Sunday, 9 May 2024, at 9.00 pm in our area, will be broadcast in 4K at 60 fps live on YouTube, and will also be followed by other presentations in the following days.
To be precise, the 4K standard at 60 frames per second is planned for broadcast on the Xbox official YouTube channelwhile through other channels the resolution will be 1080p, still maintaining the frame-rate of 60 fps, obviously subject to any limitations related to the use of internet bandwidth.
However, what is particularly interesting from today’s press release from Microsoft is the fact that the Showcase will not be the only presentation event planned for the next few days, given that various in-depth analyzes on individual games are confirmed the following week.
Not just a presentation, but also other videos
An event in the “Extended” form of the Xbox Games Showcase had already been confirmed, now a sort of tradition for Microsoft, but it seems that in this case it involves more videos.
It’s not yet clear, but Microsoft’s new communication talks about “deep dives” in the plural.
“Starting Monday, June 10 and continuing throughout the week, the official Xbox podcast will broadcast a series of special episodes which will contain updates and insights on the games that will be shown during the Xbox Games Showcase”, reads the press release.
“These videos will be posted daily to Xbox’s YouTube channel and podcast services, along with articles on Xbox Wire.” We therefore remember that the Xbox Games Showcase will be held on 9 June 2024 at 9.00 pm and we will also follow it live on our Twitch channelfollowed by the special presentation event dedicated to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
