The head of the Iranian Red Crescent confirmed that search and rescue teams have already located the helicopter of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and are heading to the accident site.
The Iranian News Agency quoted Kolivand as saying in an interview with Iranian National Television on Monday that “the situation is not good,” without providing further details.
The Iranian president’s helicopter suffered what was called a “hard landing” on Sunday in the northwest of the country.
