A working group of experts, created under the State Duma Committee on Transport and Construction, will work on regulating the work of car-sharing operators and, possibly, a draft law in order to ensure the safety of their services and allow such a business to develop. This was announced on September 17 by the first deputy chairman of the committee, Vitaly Efimov.
“We need to do something so that those who do not have the right to drive would not get into cars. So that those who have rights really get there. How to solve this problem – we will think, but in general now digital technologies allow it, ”he said. TASS…
It is important to solve this problem without creating any restrictions or obstacles for car sharing. Perhaps there will be requirements for the installation of additional devices in the car. At the moment, the working group is analyzing the foreign experience of the service.
“While we are studying how to solve the problem. We will talk to the administration and all other parties who want to get involved, including the operators themselves, ”he said.
On September 2, it was reported that Moscow could introduce mandatory authentication for car sharing users.
It is noted that with the introduction of mandatory authentication in applications, the number of illegal actions by drivers should sharply decrease.
