My prayers for her rest and for her family to find resignation.” I deeply regret the death of Doña María Salud Ramírez Caballero, “Mamá Coco”, a tireless woman and example of life, who was the inspiration for this beloved character who went around the world. Over the years, not only did the town take advantage of her exposure to the public by creating merchandise of all kinds, but visiting tourists did not miss the opportunity to take a photo with María Salud Ramírez Caballero whenever possible. Editor’s Note: Coco is a great movie. It’s quite funny and has good songs. Although many of us were not blown away as surely the rest of the world thinks, this is still an extremely entertaining film that is worthwhile.
