In the last hours the famous showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich announced that the works for the season 3 of the series The Witcher they are already underway, although still in an absolutely preliminary state.
However, the news has positively affected the many fans of the drama Netflix, given that after the success of the episodes of the second season, there is also a lot of anticipation for what is to come after the end of season 2.
Unfortunately, as already mentioned and as is normal, the state of work for season 3 of The Witcher, is still at an embryonic level, with filming that has not started and with the need to refine the project before bringing the actors and screenwriters back to the set.
Here are some of the words of the well-known showrunner, taken from the colleagues of Gameradar and that better explain the context of the work on the rumored third season of the series Witcher.
I feel that seasons 1 and 2 have laid the foundation for everything that is about to happen. But the creative process is really just beginning now. We have the scripts and now we’re going to bring the directors, the actors back into (the set), and we’ll start really digging and thinking (to) make sure it’s the perfect season.
In fact, the episodes of the second series have pleasantly impressed us in the review, with the return of the good Geralt of Rivia, Ciri And Yennifer in the complex and bloody setting outlined by Andrzej Sapkowski.
In particular, the two shows available on Netflix are strongly inspired to the literary world of the original and famous Polish writer Sapkowski, also taking some poetic license, but remaining on the whole more faithful to the books than to the video games of the brand.
Changing the subject slightly, in the past few hours we have also dealt with the spin off always expected on the series of The Witcher, but which goes back in time, in history up to 2000 years before the epic of the well-known Geralt, with the series Blood Origin.
