I'm the one who has it among my friends. I have never been sick a day in my life, I don't smoke, I rarely drink, no one in my family has had breast cancer and here I am, with stage three cancer.
The journalist's speech it moved everyone:
Hard to say out loud. I'm in my second month of chemotherapy, I'll have radiotherapy and a double mastectomy. Stage three is not yet a death sentence for most women, but this is the reality that literally shocked my system when I started doing more research on the topic, something I never would have known before my diagnosis : If you happen to be a black woman, you are 41% more likely to die from breast cancer than your white counterpart.
