According to a new report from Deadline, the film by Watch Dogs based on the saga of the same name by Ubisoft has added a new famous actor to its cast: Tom Blythbest known for his role in the Hunger Games prequel, The Rime of the Nightingale and the Serpent.
Blyth will appear alongside Sophie Wildewho played the lead role in Talk to me, A24’s teenage horror film.

Christie LeBlanc wrote the original draft of the screenplay, while new revisions were handled by Victoria Bata (Pitch Perfect 3, Fate: A Winx Saga). Producing the film are New Regency CEO Yariv Milchan and president Natalie Lehmann. The production is entrusted to Margaret Boykin, head of film and television content of Ubisoft.
In 2014, Zombieland screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese were attached to write the film, before there were production problems. No details on the characters and plot have yet been released.
THE video games there are three and they tell different stories, with different characters and in different places. The theme, however, is the same. A hacker is the protagonist of the story and with his technological skills he must fight against multinationals or authoritarian states that control the population. Some Watch Dogs books are also available.
The first news regarding the film arrived in March, after a long silence. It therefore seems that the film is finally making progress as it creates its cast.
