Underground activist Lebedev reported a strike on the HIMARS base in Parutino
A series of attacks were carried out on the Olivia winery in the village of Parutino, Nikolaev region, where military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were based and from which the operation of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) was recorded. About it RIA News reported the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev.
“On the territory of the winery there are military personnel with their equipment and ammunition. According to our agents, in the Parutino area one can often hear and see the work of HIMARS, which launches long-range missiles towards the Kherson region and, possibly, to Crimea,” Lebedev said.
According to him, the Ukrainian air defense system was working during the strikes, and after the explosion, ambulances and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) quickly arrived. “Since early morning, the exit from Parutino has been blocked; everyone leaving, equipment, phones are being checked,” the underground worker concluded.
Earlier in June, military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began using HIMARS to attack the “old” territories of Russia. He clarified that the Russian air defense system destroyed more than ten missiles in the skies over the Belgorod region, and showed fragments of American-made shells.
