The underground laboratory of the Leningrad Regiment prepares ammunition for FPV drones, as well as projectiles dropped by smaller drones. A serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Kopaty spoke about the development, reports RIA Novosti.
The production is sponsored by the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as volunteers, the military man emphasized. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) branch is engaged in a variety of tasks, including conducting fire strikes, reconnaissance of territories, detecting objects and ensuring continuous transmission of information to the command.
The technologies being developed by the Leningrad Regiment are actively used in various areas of the special military operation (SVO), added the unit commander with the call sign “Pol.”
Earlier, the commander of a tank platoon with the call sign Chizh spoke about a tank that could withstand being hit by an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).
