The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Friday on the terrorist attack on Nord Streams
The UN Security Council, at the request of Moscow, will hold a meeting on the terrorist attack on Nord Stream. Writes about this RIA Novosti.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 (17:00 Moscow time) Friday, October 4. The Security Council is expected to discuss the terrorist attacks on the almost two-year anniversary of those events. Explosions on Russian gas pipelines – Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 – occurred on September 26, 2022.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia had filed pre-trial claims against four countries in connection with the investigation into the Nord Stream terrorist attacks, and perhaps the list of these states would soon expand.
Alternative for Germany (AfD) party deputy Eugene Schmidt said that Berlin wants to cover its tracks and does not intend to investigate the gas pipeline explosions.
Also, Germany previously stated that Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 need to be restored and secured.
