The UAE sent a plane loaded with 37 tons of children’s and women’s supplies in support of the Lebanese brothers, as part of the “The UAE is with you, Lebanon” campaign.
This plane, the ninth in the framework of the aid that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, directed to be sent to brotherly Lebanon, and under the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office. Under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, in solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people in light of the difficult humanitarian circumstances they are going through.
Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Member of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, confirmed that this aid “comes within the framework of the established approach and great interest of the wise leadership of the UAE, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, towards an urgent response.” “For such difficult humanitarian conditions and urgent needs.”
She added: “The aid reflects the UAE’s firm and continuous support for the brotherly Lebanese people, based on the state’s message aimed at strengthening international security and stability.”
She also stressed the UAE’s commitment to accelerating the early recovery of people and communities affected by humanitarian crises, especially the most vulnerable groups.
It is noteworthy that since the launch of the “The UAE is with you, Lebanon” campaign, the total aid provided by the UAE to Lebanon has reached 375 tons of food, medical supplies, shelter materials, and children’s needs.
It is worth noting that His Highness the President, may God protect him, directed on September 30 to provide a humanitarian aid package worth $100 million to provide relief to the Lebanese people. His Highness also ordered that urgent aid worth $30 million be directed to displaced Lebanese in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Sharjah Charitable Society also announced the opening of donations to the “The Emirates is with you, Lebanon” campaign, within the framework of the work mechanism launched by the Emirate of Sharjah to support the campaign.
The Sharjah Charitable Society allows volunteers to participate in mobilizing relief packages, which are scheduled to be carried out next Saturday (October 19) at the Expo Center Sharjah.
Those wishing to participate register via the Sharjah Volunteer Center platform sssd-volunteer.shj.ae and the website www.volunteers.ae, to contribute to achieving the campaign’s objectives by providing urgent relief packages to women and children affected by the disaster, and providing all food and medicine requirements to enhance their ability to overcome challenges. which they face.
The association’s executive director, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, confirmed the mobilization of humanitarian efforts to respond to Lebanon’s relief appeal, as part of the “The UAE is with you, Lebanon” campaign, to provide thousands of relief packages from the Emirate of Sharjah, and its affiliated cities, to those affected by the crisis, with cooperation from government and private sector partners, and other partners. Institutions to complete the campaign project from various humanitarian agencies and individuals.
In turn, the International Charitable Organization launched an urgent relief campaign with the aim of providing aid and assistance to the brothers in Lebanon, as part of the “The UAE is with you, Lebanon” campaign launched by the United Arab Emirates to support the Lebanese people, in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions and the current critical conditions they are going through.
The campaign includes providing medicines, health supplies, food parcels, baby formula, blankets and clothes, in addition to providing fuel to hospitals and health centres, distributing water in tanks, and others.
The Authority’s Secretary-General, Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, said: “The Authority is launching this campaign under the banner of the United Arab Emirates, the banner of goodness, giving and humanity, with the aim of helping our brothers in Lebanon and alleviating their suffering in light of the circumstances that befall them, and providing various types of assistance to affected families, especially children.” And the elderly and sick who are stranded and in dire need of help.”
Al Khaja called on philanthropists, male and female, to support the campaign, whether with cash or in-kind donations, as well as local community institutions to stand by their brothers by providing the necessary materials that could mitigate the repercussions of the crisis that the brothers are going through.

The Director General of the Trahum Charitable Foundation, Dr. Ahmed Tahlak, confirmed that the “The Emirates is with you, Lebanon” campaign is a continuation of Zayed’s humanitarian approach and legacy, as she took upon herself the responsibility of supporting brotherly and friendly countries.
He said that the UAE is one of the first countries in the world in terms of the volume of its international aid, which is in line with its humanitarian vision of providing aid in times of crises.
He added that the campaign comes within the framework of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to support the brotherly Lebanese people, and expresses the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries, especially in these exceptional circumstances.
