The UAE views the space sector as one of the most important strategic sectors identified by the Supreme Policy for Science, Technology and Innovation, which made it establish several institutions and bodies that work on building strategies, and adopting plans, programs and policies through which the desired progress is achieved in this field. There are legislations and programs that have been approved in order to achieve achievements, the most important of which are: the Emirates project to explore the moon-2024, the law regulating the space sector, the national space policy, the national space strategy 2030, the “Arab Space Brilliant” program and others.
The space sector, thanks to the directives of the wise leadership that believes in its youth, stands behind them and supports them, has become one of the most important priorities of the UAE and its institutions. The relationship, and the contribution to the transfer of knowledge and advanced sciences, has built a generation of citizen cadres capable of understanding space science and technology, and dealing with the challenges of this type of science with expertise, skill and accurate knowledge.
