The situation of housing in Spain is increasingly complicated And many people find difficulties when buying a new house or facing the payment of a mortgage. In Spain, the soil is 10.5% more expensive than in February 2024, which has caused that it reaches 2,271 euros on averageaccording to the latest data published in a monthly report prepared by Idealistic. This increase has also been noticed in Castilla y León. Despite being the third cheapest autonomous community in the country, the square meter has increased 1.3% and has reached 1,195 euros.

None of the Castellanoleonese provinces exceed the average, although some are much more expensive than others. The first ranking positions are occupied by Salamanca, Valladolid and Segovia. The price of the square meter exceeds the regional figure, but is far from the national: 1,414 euros in the first, 1,396 euros in the second and 1,362 euros in the last. On the contrary, the cheapest are Ávila (933 euros), Zamora (970 euros) and León (993 euros).

The cheapest town in Segovia to buy a house

Although Segovia is one of the most expensive provinces to buy a home, some of its municipalities are more affordable for any pocket. This is the case of Marugán, where the square meter is around 1,111 euros on average. Taking only the price of the land, a floor of about 80 square meters, which is a standard size, would be around 88,880 euros.

The rest of the municipalities exceed this price. San Ildefonso or La Granja It is the most expensive area: the square meter is around 2,412 euroswell above the provincial average. The same goes for the city of Segoviawhere the floor is located in the 1,964 euros per square meter. Other municipalities also exceed the average, such as Palazuelos de Eresma (€ 1,646/m2) or Espinar (€ 1,409/m2).
