As reported late this Friday by the Data Integration Center (CID), the 217 deceased, all with autopsies performed, are fully identified and in 213 of the cases their families have already taken charge of their mortal remains to celebrate the funeral.
Of the 217 identifications of the deceased, 168 have been produced thanks to fingerprint analysis and 45 by DNAwhile four cases correspond to hospital identification while alive.
For their part, the ‘ante mortem’ offices enabled by the National Police and the Civil Guard in collaboration with the forensic doctors currently count 14 active files for disappearance reportstwo less than at the close of the balance sheet yesterday, Thursday, at 8 p.m.
The CID specifies that both parameters, active disappearances and the total number of fatalities, they are differentso they should not be added in any case.
The ‘ante mortem’ files of missing persons that are active correspond exclusively to complaints where relatives have provided different information and provided biological samples at police offices that will allow the subsequent identification of their loved ones. In this way, compared to the previous day’s balance, in the last 24 hours there was one more deceased person – with the corresponding autopsy and identification report already carried out – and two fewer active disappearance files.
On the other hand, the morgue set up in Fira Valencia, where all the bodies are taken from the City of Justice of Valencia once the autopsy has been carried out, has delivered the remains of 209 of the fatalitiesthree more than the deliveries made until yesterday, Thursday until 8 p.m.
These 209 cases are added to the four relating to people who They died after being admitted alive to a hospital. In this way, there are now 213 families, out of a total of 217, who have been able to take care of the mortal remains of their loved ones to say their last goodbye, after the issuance of the necessary documentation by the courts.
