The ten highest paid drivers in Formula 1

Forbes magazine revealed the salaries of the protagonists of the highest category of motorsports.

Formula 1 is getting ready for the start of the 2022 season and while the teams begin to adjust their cars, the dance of the millions to complete the driver grid also begins.

The Dutchman Max Verstappen, who won the 2021 title in a heart attack definition against the British Lewis Hamilton, renewed his contract with the RedBull team and took advantage of his status as champion: he extended his bond until 2028.

Verstappen is the highest paid driver in the category. Forbes magazine revealed the ranking of the top ten Formula 1 salaries, headed by the current champion, with 65 million euros.

He and Hamilton make a considerable difference to the third, the Spanish Fernando Alonso, who used his experience so that Alpine pays him 22 million dollars a year.
